Thank you for your interest in the Kingston Regional Fair! Our fair is the oldest fair in Ontario and one of over 100 fairs in Canada, with thousands of students participating in various aspects of the program. Members of the public are invited to attend our Regional Fair and/or volunteer to assist in a variety of ways.

Young Citizens

Young Citizens

The Young Citizens program for students aged 10 – 16 focuses on citizenship and is a complementary component to Heritage Fairs.

Participants selected for the Young Citizens program create a short video about their Heritage Fair topic.

Project Examples

Regional Heritage Fairs bring together the best projects from local schools to meet for a one or two day showcase event.

Students arrive for a full day presenting their projects, responding to questions from judges, as well as interacting and sharing stories with other students, parents and members of the public.
